The Wondfo One Step Strep A Home Test is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay intended for use by home users and healthcare professionals as a qualitative screening in vitro diagnostic test for the detection of group A streptococcal antigen. (Pharyngitis, Tonsillitis, Impetigo, Scarlet Fever).

This easy to use test is highly accurate and requires only a throat swab.  They are easy to store, have a long shelf life and provide accurate results for in just 10 minutes indicating wether the user has a Strep infection or not.

Description

Did you know that 

  • Strep A infection is an infe4ction of the throat and tonsils – commonly called a sore throat
  • It spreads by contact and from coughs and sneezes
  • Most Strep A infections cause mild flu with fever and an aching body
  • However IGAS ( Invasive Group A streptococcus)  can cause serious and life threatening conditions including the flesh eating bug, toxic shock, rheumatic fever and glomerulonephritis
  • This infection can be cured with a course of antibiotics and prevent complications 
  • It is more common in children and in households once one person has the infection

When should you test yourself for Strep A

  • If you suspect you have strep throat
  • If you are
    • A  sore throat that starts quickly
    • Fever
    • Pain on swallowing
    • Red spots on the roof of the mouth
    • Rash
    • Headache
    • Not getting better
